Sara Benedetto, RN
Vice President & COO

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, University of Michigan

Joined Center: 1992 when it was the Center for Healthy Beginnings

Supervises: Medical and Dental Operations, Patient Services, Pharmacy, Facilities

Prior work: Nurse – mother and baby, general medicine – Foote Hospital; various positions at the Center

Community Involvement: Member, Health Improvement Organization, Cradle to Career, Great Start Executive Committee, and numerous other community collaborative organizations; board member, School and Community Health Alliance of Michigan, and Jackson Community Medical Record

Kim Hinkle, RN
Quality Improvement Director

Education: Bachelor's in Nursing, Eastern Michigan University

Joined Center: 1991 when it was the Center for Healthy Beginnings

Supervises: All quality measures and customer-service standards; compliance with HIPAA privacy and security standards

Prior work: Clinic Manager, Center for Family Health; labor and delivery nurse, case management and utilization review, Henry Ford Allegiance Health

Recognitions: 2005 Distinguished Alumna, Eastern Michigan University College of Health and Human Services; 2008 Michigan Primary Care Association Nursing Leadership Award

Sharon Rouse, DO
Chief Medical Officer
Pediatrician

Education: Bachelor's, University of Michigan; Master's in Education, Wayne State University; Medical degree, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine; Residency, St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit; Board certified in Pediatrics

Joined Center: 2004

Supervises: All medical operations, overseeing all medical providers

Professional affiliations: Member, American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Pediatricians

Prior work: Former biology and chemistry high school teacher; Worked as a pediatrician for two years in Las Vegas before coming to the Center

Recognition: One of a group who received the Trailblazer Award from Henry Ford Allegiance Health for starting/organizing new residency program; Program Director for traditional interns at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital

Community involvement: Board member, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Jackson

Rebecca Snow
Vice President & Chief Finance and Human Resources Officer

Terry Langston

Terry Langston, Communications & Development Officer

Education: Bachelor’s in social relations and family studies through James Madison College at Michigan State University; master’s in community service and family studies, MSU; master’s in public affairs and administration, Western Michigan University

Joined Center: 2013

Prior work: For the last 10 years, operated consulting firm, Langston Enterprises Inc. Also worked for Substance Abuse Prevention Services (SAPS), Albion-Homer United Way, the Michigan 4-H Foundation, High/Scope Educational Research Foundation, Council of Michigan Foundations and Olivet College and other nonprofits.

Recognitions: Betty Cooke Advocacy Award 

Community Involvement: Sandstone Charter Township Trustee
