The Center for Family Health was found in full compliance with federal standards in a rigorous review by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
During a recent inspection called an operational site visit, HRSA found the Center measures up to state and federal standards for federally qualified health centers in all key areas.
“This verifies that our board and leadership comply with laws and regulations while pursuing the Center’s mission to provide affordable health care,” said Molly Kaser, President CEO of the Center.
“We passed with flying colors,” Kaser said.
“We are thrilled to be receiving this distinction,” said board Chairman Steven Hogwood. “The Center also received this distinction three years ago, and we are excited about what it says about our work. We hope the community will celebrate with us the great things that are happening at the Center for Family Health.”
HRSA performs operational site visits at least once every three years, with a focus on clinical, financial, governance and administrative requirements. The overall purpose is to make sure systems and procedures are in place to demonstrate that federally qualified health centers hold themselves accountable for meeting all applicable laws and regulations.
