Through RxReady, the Center for Family Health will text you on your cell phone to let you know that your prescription is ready to be picked up. Once you activate this service by talking to the Pharmacy, you will receive a text reminder if you forget to pick up a prescription. RxReady works with major cell carriers.
To refill your prescription from the Center for Family Health’s Pharmacy, call 517 748-5400. Choose option 1 to request a refill on your current prescription, and punch in your prescription number on your telephone keypad, or choose option 3 to speak with a pharmacy staff member.
If you are a medical patient at the Center and your prescription no longer has any refills, there are two ways to request a new prescription. You can request a refill through the Patient Portal, NextMD. (Link to the Patient Portal Page). You also can make a request by phone. Call the Center’s number at 517 748-5500 and ask for the medication refill line. If it is after business hours, push option 2. You will need to give the following information: patient name (please spell), date of birth, provider’s name, medication name/strength/directions, phone number where you can be reached, and which pharmacy (and location) you would like to use.
The Center can help if you have no prescription coverage or if you simply cannot afford your medications.
